PACKING LIST

Laundry, packing, grocery shopping, hugging my boyfriend. So much to do, and only one day to do it. I keep thinking of what's handy and helpful when hiding out in a 1930s log cabin in the Rockies to write a screenplay. Today I added to the list my big-girl camera, a stack of books, and at least one of the four boxes of Thin Mints I bought from a co-worker's daughter at the job I just lost. And then there are the items my sister-in-law Cori wisely suggested. When I told her about my plans, she texted, "I'll miss you. Take a baseball bat and a gun."
